Dear Friends of MedSFLA,
I am writing to you to introduce you to the new full-time National Coordinator for Medical Students for Life, Jon Russell, who just started last week! Before taking on his new role as the National Coordinator for Medical Students for Life, Jon began working with Students for Life of America in 2011 as the Pacific Northwest Regional Coordinator based out of Washington State.
And before coming on board with SFLA, Jon and his wife Sarah, a Family Nurse Practitioner, previously co-owned two urgent & family medical clinics specializing in healthcare for uninsured and underinsured patients. In addition, he has served as a Fundraising Coordinator for a Pregnancy Resource Center and Maternity Home, Executive Director for the Washington Faith and Freedom Foundation, and as a City Councilman for 6 years.
We are excited to work alongside Jon this coming academic year as he begins expanding the impact of Medical Students for Life across the nation!
If you have any questions for Jon or just want to get a head start planning to change the debate in your med school this fall, please feel free to contact him at JRussell@Studentsforlife.org!
For Life,
Kristan Hawkins
Executive Director, Students for Life of America
