In the busy life of studies, clinics, labs, lectures, review and more review, it can be difficult enough to find time to participate in extracurricular groups – let alone find the time to lead one. But it can be done, as more than 50 Med Students for Life groups and leaders across the country prove everyday!
That is why, MedSFLA is offering a free, live webcast featuring two fantastically successful pro-life group leaders Brendan O’Morchoe and Jennifer Rumpf on November 4th! Whether your group’s growth has stalled, or membership is expanding exponentially, this webcast will help you and your leadership team learn how to:
- Identify and recruit new members
- Develop new members into next year’s leaders
- Retain current members and raise their level of involvement
Brendan is the National Director of Field Operations at our parent organization, Students for Life of America, where he has trained thousands of pro-life student leaders across the United States by drawing from his personal experiences as the former President of the Fordham University Respect for Life club. Jennifer Rumpf is an M2 at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, President of the Med Students for Life at Texas A&M, a former President of the undergraduate Aggies for Life, and was recently hand-picked as one of the 12 medical students who composed the 2013 class of MedSLFA’s Pro-Life Summer Externship.
Together, Brendan and Jen will lay out the theories of leadership development and membership recruitment which will help catapult your pro-life med student group to new frontiers. Join us to learn from their experiences and successes!
